So the true Creation could be very different from that in the Bible. And since I missed the Mary discussion, I'd just like to give my own point. Mary stayed a virgin throughout her life, but the "brothers" of Jesus mentioned are either a mistranslation (brother and neighbor meant the same word in that language), or that they were from another marriage of Joseph. However, it is known that Joseph died rather young so it was unlikely that he had any other children with Mary, even if they did have relations.

2005-03-06 [Tesa]: Wow. A lot happened. Firstly I’d like to say that St. Bernadette Subaru was an awesome saint, and YES she did see Mary in I think 3 or 4 visions. She was asked to have a chapel built in a certain place. In this cove was a spring which, instructed by the Virgin Mary, Bernadette found a spring which was healing of MANY illness. My good friend MaryLou J. went to Lourdes disbelieving that her friend’s daughter who was to die in days was cured when she was put into the bath of spring water. That little girl who was to die was completely cured of cancer! She was completely sterile; she wasn’t able to have children because of the years of chemo (spelling?) to her young body.

2005-03-06 [Tesa]: On another note. Mary has come to many people, and given them certain instructions. Like, Fatima. Sr. Lucia died recently as most of you know. She was one of the three who saw Our Blessed Lady. They had, *I think* 14 visions. One in which I pretty sure they had a vision of hell and poor souls. They were told to pray for the conversion of Russia and Souls who would not repent. Blessed’s Jacinta and Francisco Marto were Sr. Lucia’s cousins. They died very soon after their last vision. My best friend is named after Blessed Jacinta Marto. Why can’t Mary, our heavenly mother come to us? How do you know she can not do this? Who told you that?
2005-03-06 [Tesa]: Mary has no power with out God. Mary is NOTHING with out God. God sent her to us to reveal that WE are not in charge. HE is. We forget that a lot. So, you can NOT say that Mary can not come to us, because with God, every single little thing is possible.
2005-03-06 [Tesa]: God has promised to be always with us. And so will he ever be. If through visions of Saints, angels, Our Dear Lord as with Saint Sister Faustina, or as in Fatima. If he wills it, thy Will be done. We can not put a weight on God. To say he is only capable of so much, because if we did, we would be slandering every thing a Christian believes in. God is here with us. In many ways. God is not in OUR world, but we are in his. We have to find our place in His world, and find our path. Believing in God does not only take courage, but faith. And love. God is Love. God is Faith. And He will lead us to His Divine Heart.

2005-03-06 [goldice]: yeah there have been alot of healings and crutches hang in the grotto as proof. sadly some of the people we take, die while they are out there but their families see it as being cured of the illness anyway. i personally didnt go in the baths though because a) im not catholic and b) they were too bloomin cold. there was actually more like 13 visions in toatal, some where mary spoke and some where she just looked. the spring is gorgeous though. you can't hear the gave while sitting infront of the grotto. if you get a chance to go to lourdes anytime, you must do the the candlelight parade, its so beautiful
